A hell of a guitar this Gibson signature Slash "Jessica" but some damage this lack of consideration from Gibson. After acquiring a sublime PRS CE24-08 exceptional in every way, I wanted to treat myself with this beautiful Gibson with remarkable finish. From the moment the flightcase was opened, it was a slap, this "Jessica" is really sexy and you get dazzled right from the start (very American as a concept when you think about it, but...). After the love at first sight comes the time for a deeper discovery and there, some points that bother considering the price of the lady who does not let herself be seduced with small change. After a PRS with a similar budget, the thermal shock is palpable. Indeed, very different finishes, sometimes approximate and mistakes from Gibson who, if they readily admit them, well, how to say, don't give a damn (to be polite...). An idea of "if you don't like it well.... I don't care..." (also very American as a concept...). Too bad, this poor customer esteem who suffers at the end of the chain the moods of the brand. Once past this stage and once the pill swallowed and the manufacturing defects forgotten, the guitar is great and I regret nothing at all. The Alnico II are hot and spread a unique tone, I love it! So don't be surprised dear friends, if like me you own other guitars with impeccable finishes, you will have to accept to pay the high price for lesser finishes at Gibson. Is it worth it, my answer is.... Yes. I salute the Woodbrass team for their involvement towards the grumblers at Gibson and thank them for their perfect support which allows me, despite some frustrations, to be satisfied with this acquisition.

Hello everyone! I just acquired this guitar, my very first Gibson, and what can I say? It's absolutely amazing! It plays by itself. Be careful if you want something light, move along, it's a log! About 4.5 kilos for mine. The pickups are good, nice roundness and very high output level, quite creamy on the neck pickup as well. You'll be able to let loose on Slash-style riffs. As for the finish, nothing to complain about. The quality control is on point. The maple top is beautiful and I won't even mention the mahogany ?????? And the smell! In short, pure happiness
